'Tis the season

Not sure if he made the connection about all the presents, but Jake definitely started to figure out that Christmas = more food!! I think thats why he tried to eat all his new toys...mmmm wearing his new Christmas bib.... eating again... ringing? his Christmas bells.... Ok - he took a break to try out his new 'ride em' lion... (he balanced for about 5 seconds before toppling over)

Ho Ho Ho!

We went to visit Santa at Selfridges this year (not the cheapest option I found out too late), but traditions being what they are, I wanted a picture of Jake with Santa:) I had to take a picture with my camera of the photo I bought! (yep no cameras allowed in Santa's grotto!)

Merry Christmas everyone, wherever you may be! A big hello to our family and friends who we are not able to see this year. I do however promise enough photographic evidence of the Jakester's 1st Christmas that you will think you were right here next to us!

Winter in Londontown

The winds pick up and the rain starts to fall (continues really), but I don't have any good pics of the rain, mainly because trying to push Jake's pram, hold an umbrella and take a picture just doesn't work. So instead, here is a crisp winter day down by the water. Big Ben looking as imposing as ever!

Jake finishing off mum's latte (caffeine is ok for babies once they hit 9 months right? don't worry, only joking)

My favourite dept store - Selfridges, always has crazy window displays.

Carnaby Street decked out (close to Piccadilly Circus)

Viva Las Vegas!

Jake has some really cool news to share - Auntie Jen and her running buddy Britt have successfully completed their first half marathon in Las Vegas! We are so proud of both of you!

He was a little scared of the balloon, so this is the best we could do:)
Congrats Auntie Jen!!

Here are some highlights from their trip...

It just wouldn't be Vegas without Elvis!

Or a 'run-through' wedding chapel....

India

Let's go back to the summer...

While Jake & I spent the month of August in Canada, Rich was working away, spending part of the month on a business trip to India. He was in Chennai and Dehli, and took some really interesting photos of the people living there.

The first one may be my favourite - boys leaving school. You should be able to see more detail if you click on the picture.

I love this one too
