Kilburn Cosmos take the gold!

Well not bad for his first tournament at an away pitch:) Rich took Jake to what they thought would be a friendly training session and match, turned out to be a tournament with 20 teams participating. The 6 you see in the photo are the only kids who showed up and you need a minimum of 6 to play. Their regular coach was also sick, so underdogs from kilburn with substitute coach came away victorious! 

They played 4 matches, and Jake did score (according to Rich) the best try of the day!  Jake is so proud and I'm sure would love to tell all of you about it in person:)

Ollie's age group wasn't competing this time but he wanted to hear all of the details!

Jake's 1st post

Today I went to chess club and had some challenges to only pick 1 piece and you'd get both black and white pieces. For example, if you had 2 queens and somebody else got one of your queens, they would win because it's considered impossible if you only have one piece.

1st day of school

Tough start to the day after a summer of no alarm clocks...

 After school play in the muga (multi-use-games-area) was much better:)

After school swimming lessons followed by dinner at nandos in jammies:)
