Return to Devon

We headed south to Devon for the week of the Queens Jubilee.   The weather was less than ideal, but we made the most of it:)

Favourite little town of Lyme Regis

Laid back place for lunch with strawberries and cream for dessert!

When it rained on us...

Rich defying all by bbq in monsoon like conditions...

Jenga - Oliver has suprising focus and control!

Went to Ark Pottery and took turns at the wheel, traditional hand throwing pottery.  The potters who own it have been there about 40 years...they work in the former dairy building adjacent to their home.
My vase is in the mail...will post a pic when it arrives!

What are holidays for?

And when the rain stopped....(was going to say when the sun came out, but really it was just a break in the rain!)

Back to sidmouth beach

The Turners!

And then the sun came out and clothes were shed...

Cool little playhouses at Bicton Park, lots of space to run!!!  Beautiful gardens, little train running through park, we timed it well with the rain too:)

Escot Park - very cool, peackcocks, birds of prey display, and trees with faces?

Campfire with friends at Mazzard Farm

Poor kids getting smoked out while I was taking pictures ignoring them!
